Welcome to Croydon Municipal Officers Cricket Club

The objects of Croydon MO Cricket Club are to foster good sporting relationships with all other clubs and ensure that the members of the club enjoy cricket at the LCCA Centre. The aim of the club is to maintain the highest standards of physical and social cricket amongst its members. Please refer all enquiries to Waseem Sherwani on 0790-4163214. We play in three leagues and are affiliated to the following bodies :

Fullers Brewery Surrey County League

South London Sunday League. ( www.sls.play-cricket.com ).

The club have already adopted the ECB safe hand policy. The
Chairman is Kulsum Hussin and the Club Treasurer is Abid Ali.

The Club's chairman welcomes you to use the website and warmly welcomes all those who play for CMO. Kulsum has agreed to sponsor the Club and has generously donated shirts and caps to the Club.

The 2009 Captains are Sunny Shariff Tel 07595270080 (1st XI), Peter Brindley Tel 07802572022 (2nd XI) and Imran Akram Tel 07984160460 (Sunday XI). Please contact them about matches and availability. Andre is in charge of the second XI until Peter recovers from his injury.

THE 2009 SEASON :-

Congratulations to Paul Gooding (122 NO) and Andre Harfeld
( 112 NO ) on Saturday's game against Lingfield. They set a net Fullers league record of 257-0 for opening batsman. Andre had an average of 178.5 and has scored 714 runs so far

Thanks you to all those guys who came to indoor nets at Trinity and to Abid for arranging the nets. The outdoor nets are every Tuesday at the centre from 5pm to 9 pm. Contact Abid Ali ( Tel 07957687633 ) or Waseem for any information for nets every tuesday. The nets will be at the LCCA.

First aid officers are Waseem Sherwani & Matt Fletcher. Child Welfare officer is also Waseem Sherwani who can be contacted at anytime.
